Schumann Energy Recovery Low Volume LS Oil Pump LS-ER-LV-PI

When the RPM is brought up on the starting line, the oil pump goes into bypass as it reacts to the addedvolume and pressure. The pump is designed by the factory to route the bypassed oil back into theintake port working against the needed flow of oil. This works fine for the daily driver, but in a high-performance application, this results in a lack of oil supply to the bearings. The Energy Recovery Systemroutes the bypassed oil into the intake tube providing a constant supply to the pump and bearings.

The Schumann Energy Recovery System comes in a kit and does require some welding. The kit containsone complete Energy Recovery oil pump assembly, one 320 degree oil input fitting for attachment to theoil intake tube, 18 inches of 250lb. No. 6 fluid line and push lock fittings as required.

Oil pressure will vary depending upon oil temp, oil viscosity and bearing clearances. Chart below is a reference guide only.
