GM VERSATRAK fluid is a blend of synthetic base oils and performance additives specially formulated to give the proper friction characteristics, gear protection, and oxidation resistance needed for the transfer case and carrier assembly-differential in the VERSATRAK All Wheel Drive System.

  • Provides proper friction characteristics and gear protection
  • Resists oxidation
  • DO NOT use VERSATRAK fluid in standard or limited slip rear axles
  • Use only in applications which specify VERSATRAK fluid
  • See “Documents” Tab for MSDS & GM Technical Service Bulletin
  • The AWD Aztec and Rendezvous rear axle capacity is 2.1 Quarts per the GM service Manual. You will need 4 containers of 12378514 to drain and refill these axles once. If you follow the service procedure in the GM service bulletin, you will need 8 containers of Versatrak fluid to flush and refill twice. See “Documents” tab for GM service bulletin 06-04-114-001A concerning 02-06 Rendezvous,05-06 Terazza,02-05 Chevy Venture, 05-06 Chevy Uplander, 02-04 Silhouette, 01-05 Pontiac Aztek, 02-05 Pontiac Montana, 05-06 Pontiac Montana SV6, 05-06 Saturn Relay. Equinox oil capacity is 17Oz.
